Therapeutic Optometrist
Dr. Ali was born and raised in Austin and completed her Bachelors of Science at the University of Texas. She made her first move out of the city to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude and with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.
She did her externship at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, where she provided primary eye care, managed complicated ocular pathology, fit specialty contact lenses and conducted pre/post-op care for a diseased indigent population. She spent the rest of her externship at Lakeline Vision Source working with well-versed optometrists. There she practiced full-scope optometry in a large private practice setting. She has also gained a considerable amount of experience managing dry eye disease, which has become a great passion of hers and she’s always looking to learn more about it.
In her free time, Dr. Ali loves painting, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Now that she’s back in her hometown, she is excited about joining Envision Eye Center and providing top notch eye care to her patients.
